Dr. Farberg is a dermatologic surgeon at Baylor University Medical Center where he specializes in treating patients with skin cancer using Mohs surgery. He served as consultant dermatologist for the New York Yankees and has been an invited speaker and honored with awards at national medical conferences.
In his research endeavors, Dr. Farberg focuses on investigating cutaneous melanoma, dermatologic surgery techniques, sun protection and skin cancer prevention, aesthetic dermatology, regenerative medicine applications in dermatology, and the use of molecular and genetic testing in skin cancer. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles on the findings of his research and co-edited “Non-Invasive Technologies for the Diagnosis and Management of Skin Cancer,” an issue of Dermatologic Clinics, in 2017.
