Dr. Hordinsky is professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and is also the director of its Clinical Research Division. As recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, she is recognized for her expertise and research in hair diseases and the peripheral nervous system as it relates to hair follicle biology. Dr. Hordinsky is a regular speaker at dermatology conferences and divides her time between seeing patients, doing clinical research, teaching, and administration.
