Ava T. Shamban, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. A scientist, researcher, and business owner, Dr. Shamban’s goal is to help her patients live happier, more satisfied lives. A native Californian, Dr. Shamban offers her patients customized treatment plans using the latest technologies at her specialist practices in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. With everything from injectables, lasers, body sculpting, and Mohs surgery, Dr. Shamban’s practices offer a complete range of aesthetic care.
She is known for her role in developing the multimodal treatment approach to acne, acne scars, pigmentary problems, and rosacea. Additionally, she has served as principal investigator for numerous clinical and FDA trials. She has also published extensively in prestigious medical journals, and is the author of ‘Heal Your Skin: The Breakthrough Plan for Renewal’.
