As an international speaker and world-renowned expert in the field of pediatric dermatology, Dr. Torrelo has frequently lectured at the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Academy of Dermatology. As head of the Department of Dermatology at the Children’s Hospital del Niño Jesús in Madrid, Dr. Torrelo focuses on pediatric dermatologic conditions and holds memberships in societies committed to the advancement of the field.
Dr. Torrelo obtained his medical degree in Madrid, Spain, in 1993 and went on to complete a dermatology residency.
Dr. Torrelo co-authored 180 scientific articles in international journals and acts as associate editor of Pediatric Dermatology — having formerly belonged to the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
