About

In addition to caring for patients at Skin and Cancer Associates in Aventura, Florida, Dr. Berman attends and teaches at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As co-director of the Center for Clinical and Cosmetic Research, he leads a broad-based clinical research program while focusing laboratory investigations on the study of the control of scarring. He has presented on his clinical and research pursuits at over 300 national and international dermatology conferences. Dr. Berman is the author of more than 250 peer-reviewed scientific and clinical articles, chapters and books, is the recipient of the Dean’s Senior Faculty Clinical Research Award from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
