Dr. David M. Pariser is a senior physician at Pariser Dermatology Specialists in Southeastern Virginia. He is double-board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology with special competence in Dermatopathology. He is a former president of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Dermatological Association. He is well-regarded for his expertise on psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, and photodynamic therapy.
Dr. Pariser’s primary clinical and research interests include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, acne, and photodynamic therapy. Throughout his 40-year career, his research has led to the publication of over 300 scientific journals, four medical literature textbooks, and hundreds of articles and other publications. An active clinician and teacher, Dr. Pariser has participated as a principal investigator in over 450 clinical trials and has been a guest speaker at more than 600 medical education events worldwide. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the International League of Dermatologic Societies, the body that sponsors the World Congress of Dermatology.
