Dr. Evan L. Siegel serves as the medical director of Arthritis and Rehabilitation Therapy Services, the physical therapy division of Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates, P.C. While he cares for all rheumatic diseases he has a special interest in psoriatic arthritis and other spondyloarthropathies such as ankylosing spondylitis. He is a member or GRAPPA, the international Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis and is a contributing author of the group’s recently published treatment guidelines .
Dr. Siegel served as chairperson of the committee charged with developing psoriatic arthritis guidelines for United Rheumatology, a national group representing private practice rheumatologists and has been chosen to sit on the committee to develop guidelines for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis for the American College of Rheumatology. He has authored or co-authored numerous academic papers relating to the diagnosis and treatment of psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Siegel currently serves on the medical board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and is on the editorial board of their publication, Psoriasis Advance. He lectures extensively to other rheumatologists and medical professionals on topics in Rheumatology.
